In 1998, in Palm Desert, Toastmasters International recognized Bob "for his professionalism and outstanding achievements in public speaking.” He was the 48th speaker in their history, and only the 5th Canadian, to earn this prestigious professional level designation. He has served Toastmasters with distinction since 1991. To date, 2023, only 93 speakers (including 10 Canadians) have earned this prestigious professional level designation.

He is the prolific author of 33 business, leadership, presentations, and career success publications, including multiple best sellers, and his content rich articles have been featured in association, corporate, on-line, consumer and trade journals across the globe. In addition to coaching speaking colleagues and fellow Toastmasters, he has coached leaders from Canada's Top 50 best managed companies.
